CBSE will be using advanced data analytics to detect, respond and prevent any irregularities in academic testing across all major CBSE administered exams in the country.

CBSE Board Exams 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be using advanced data analytics to hold fair examinations.

β€œWhile all efforts are being made to prevent the use of unfair means practices during the conduct of examinations in physical terms through monitoring by appointing external observers or flying squads and use of CCTV, CBSE has decided further to improve upon it by using advanced data analytics to detect cases/centres while there is a high probability of recourse to unfair means during examinations,” the board announced.

As per the official notification released by CBSE, the board in collaboration with Central Square Foundation (CSF) and Play power Labs has done an analysis on Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam date which was held in January 2021 to develop algorithms to identify suspicious data patterns at the centre and the individual test-taker level.

CBSE will be using advanced data analytics to detect, respond and prevent any irregularities in academic testing across all major CBSE administered exams in the country. On the basis of such analysis, CBSE aims to identify examination centers where the data indicates the existence of malpractices during the conduct of examinations. After this, the board will take appropriate action to strengthen the reliability of the examinations and to deter any such malpractices in the future.

This will be used to strengthen the credibility of the National Achievement Survey (NAS), Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) and Board examinations conducted by CBSE.

Meanwhile, CBSE today has released the CBSE roll number 2021-22 for term 1 examination in online mode on its official website; i.e. cbse.gov.in. All students can check their CBSE roll no from the CBSE admit card 2022. The board will conduct the term one exams for Classes 10, 12 from November 30, 2021. The board has also released an OMR sheet sample along with detailed guidelines on using it.

CBSE 10th exams 2022 are set to begin from November 30 while CBSE 12th exams 2022 will be held from November 16.
