1. A. Finding pH of following samples by using pH paper/universal indicator: Unit-I

a) Dilute Hydrochloric Acid

B. Studying properties of acids and bases (HCl & NaOH) on the basis of their reaction with: Unit-I
a) Litmus solution (Blue/Red)

b) Zinc metal

c) Solid sodium carbonate

2. Performing and observing the following reactions and classifying them into: Unit-I

a) Combination reaction

b) Decomposition reaction

c) Displacement reaction

d) Double displacement reaction

• Action of water on quicklime
• Action of heat on ferrous sulphate crystals
• Iron nails kept in copper sulphate solution
• Reaction between sodium sulphate and barium chloride solutions

3. Observing action of Zn, Fe, Cu and Al metals on the following salt solutions: Unit-I

a) ZnSO4 (aq)

b) FeSO4 (aq)

c) CuSO4 (aq)

d) Al2 (SO4)3 (aq)

Arranging Zn, Fe, Cu and Al (metals) in the decreasing order of reactivity based on theabove result.

4. Studying the dependence of potential difference (V) across a resistor on the current

(I) passing through it and determining its resistance. Also plotting a graph between V and I. Unit-IV

5. Determination of equivalent resistance of two resistors when connected in series and parallel. Unit-IV

6. Preparing a temporary mount of a leaf peel to show stomata. Unit- II

7. Experimentally show that carbon dioxide is given out during respiration. Unit-II

8. Study of following properties of acetic acid (ethanoic acid): Unit- I

a) Odour

b) solubility in water

9. Study of comparative cleaning capacity of a sample of soap in soft and hard water. Unit- I

10. Determination of focal length of: Unit-III

a) Concave mirror

b) Convex lens by obtaining image of a distant object.

11. Tracing path of a ray of light passing through a rectangular glass slab for different angles of incidence. Measure angle of incidence, angle of refraction, angle of emergence andinterpret the result. Unit - III

12. Studying (a) binary fission in Amoeba, and (b) budding in yeast and Hydra with help of prepared slides. Unit-II

13. Tracing path of rays of light through a glass prism. Unit-III

14. Identification of different parts of an embryo of a dicot seed (pea, gram or red kidney bean). Unit-II

Yes, the board gives sufficient preparation leaves to students for the exams. Students are advised to finish the CBSE 10th syllabus, and know the exam pattern before the exams begin. They must also solve, analyse and practice the previous years question papers and CBSE 10th sample papers 2026 to be better prepared for the exams. Make notes of all important points while studying and get all the doubts cleared with your friends, teachers etc. This will ensure that you're prepared ahead of time and will help reduce the exam anxiety.

Yes, it is highly likely that you will get about 30-40 % questions from the previous years. I can't say that will be as same as given but the concept will be same. The type of question coming in CBSE board exams is same. The board follows the same pattern.

In class 10, its not very hard to score above 90. You can easily get 100/100 in maths, 90+ in english and 95+ in computer. Have the attitude, "I just have to complete every single chapter for every single subject thoroughly." Just keep covering chapters after chapters and you will see yourself confident on the exam day. Students can download them by clicking on the links on this page and start preparing for their upcoming exams. CBSE 10th board exams 2026 will likely be conducted between February 15 and March 18, 2026.

The Board also releases the CBSE 10th sample papers. The sample papers also share the latest marking sheme. These sample papers make students familiar with the difficulty level of the exam, the types of questions that will be asked and more.

Plan your schedule: Now, as you know your weak areas, your agenda should be to give extra time to tackle those difficult lessons and transform them to strong ones. Note-making is an effective method: Any point that you are not getting answer for write it down and ask the query with your mentor. If you are shying to ask questions to your mentors ask with your friends or get back to me. Solve previous years' question papers: There are lots of sample papers, so try solving possible amount of papers of the subject you are weak in, it will help you. Understand the concepts while studying: Don't mug up the answers, but understand and make up situations and think how you will get the results. Group study can helps: Bring your friends home and ask queries and try answering enough questions. This will help you both. It is on best way.
