Odisha CHSE Exam 2026: The Council of Higher Secondary Education has decided to introduce a new system that will allow Odisha CHSE Plus 2 (Intermediate) students to reappear for exams in a particular subject to improve their marks. CBSE-Style improvement exam for Odisha class XII students will be implemented from current academic year. Under this system, students who pass class 12 board exam will be given an opportunity to take Odisha CHSE improvement test in any one subject to get better marks.Β
Students Can Apply for Odisha CHSE Improvement Exam After Board Results
According to CHSE officials, students will be able to apply for Odisha Plus Two improvement exam after the declaration of class 12th board results. Those interested must submit their improvement exam application within 15 days of result announcement. Odisha 12th improvement exam will be conducted within one month after CHSE board results are declared.

They can also access CHSE 12th result via Digilocker. Students have to enter the roll number or name to check the Odisha 12th Result.
The council said that Odisha 12th improvement results will be declared within 60 days after exam is conducted. This aims to help students improve their academic performance and overall scores. The council clarified that students who fail in the annual Plus 2 exam will not be allowed to appear for improvement test. Instead, these students will be given the chance to appear in instant exam, which is conducted for those who could not pass the annual exam.
An official from CHSE said that the decision to give students another opportunity to improve their marks was taken last year. With implementation of this new system from this academic year, the Council of Higher Secondary Education is aiming to provide students with a fair chance to get better scores and academic records.
