Goa Board Class 10, 12 examinations have been postponed due to COVID.

The Goa Board has decided to postpone the Goa Board 10th as well as Goa Board 12th examinations 2021 amid a huge spike in coronavirus cases in the state and across the country. The Goa SSC examinations 2021 were scheduled to be conducted from May 13 to June 4, 2021, while Goa Board Class 12 examinations were to be conducted from April 26 to May 15, 2021.

Last week, the Chief Minister had ruled out any possibility to postpone the Goa Board 10, 12 examinations and had said all precautions would be in place while conducting the examinations. 

Regarding the revised dates for the Goa Board Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, the official website reads that the revised dates will be notified 15 days before the commencement of the exams. A detailed notification will also follow the revised exam schedule for class 10 class 12 board exams.

Meanwhile, Goa reported 1,502 new COVID-19 cases with 17 deaths and 426 recoveries in the last 24 hours. With this, the cumulative cases in the state have gone up to 70,814 while the death toll has mounted to 943.
