GBSHE will follow 30:30:40 formula for evaluating the theory part for all subjects of Class 12.

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHE) has released the GSEB HSSC Evaluation Criteria based on which it will be preparing the Goa Board HSSC Result 2021. The same has been notified through an official notification released by the state board on its official website. The Goa Board 12th Result 2021 will be based on the marks obtained in Class 10, 11 and Class 12 internal marks.

As per the policy released, practical examinations marks will be on an actual basis as uploaded by the schools on the GBSHE portal. GBSHE will follow 30:30:40 formula for evaluating the theory part for all subjects of Class 12.

The official notification reads, "The assessment policy should follow tranquillity, flexibility and authenticity to maintain sanctity and credibility of the examination." The objective of the evaluation policy is to provide an unbiased and transparent academic record based on the realistic performance of the candidate.

Earlier, Goa CM Pramod Sawant had announced the Goa Board Class 12 examinations 2021 on June 2, a day after CBSE Class 12 exams were declared to be cancelled by PM Narendra Modi. “After extensive consultations, it has been decided that the Class 12 exams shall be cancelled, as the health & safety of our students is of utmost priority. This will also help put an end to the anxiety amongst the students, parents and teachers,” Sawant tweeted regarding the cancellation of Goa Board 12th exams. “The results will be declared as per well-defined objective criteria,” the CM had said.
