GSEB HSC examinations 2021 will begin from July 1, as per the state Education Minister.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will begin with the GSEB HSC examinations 2021 from July 1 for the Science stream, announced the state Education Minister on May 25. Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama announced the government's decision to conduct the Class 12 board examination as per the existing system. He also said that the revised GSEB 12th Time Table 2021 will be released soon after discussing with the Chief Minister.

Elaborating further on the conduct of examinations, Chudasama said that the Science Stream paper would be in two parts. Part 1 would have objective type MCQ questions. Part 2 would have descriptive questions. 

Once released, the GSEB Class 12 Time Table 2021 will be updated here. Students are also advised to keep visiting the GSEB website for such updates.

Recently, the state board had cancelled GSEB Class 10 examinations in view of the prevailing circumstances due to COVID-19 and had decided to mass promote all the students. Around 8.72 lakh regular students of class 10 studying under GSHSEB will be promoted to the next grade, according to the development. A decision regarding repeaters', students who had failed in earlier attempts and were slated to again appear for exams this year, will be taken after assessing the situation once COVID-19 cases drop, said the official release by GSEB.
