The Gujarat Board conducted the GSEB 10th board exams 2023 from March 14 till March 28, 2023. The Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the GSEB SSC Admit card 2023 on the official website on February 28, 2023. Schools have to download the GSEB SSC hall ticket 2023 and distribute to the students. The board had released the GSEB SSC Time Table 2023 on its official website gseb.org. About GSEB 10^th

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) conducts examinations for Class 10 every year in March. The examinations are conducted offline at the respective schools. Approximately, 10 lakh students appear for the GSEB SSC examinations every year. Students must follow the GSEB SSC syllabus and solve previous years' question papers to prepare well for the exams.

Students who will be appearing for GSEB SSC examinations must have passed Class 9 from the Gujarat Board of Secondary Education or any other recognised board of education. They will be required to fill the application form to appear for the exam. The GSEB SSC application forms must be filled and submitted by candidates’ respective schools in November.

The admit card for the Gujarat Board SSC exam will be accessible for the school authorities to download in February and the students will be able to collect the same from their respective schools thereafter. The GSEB SSC Result 2023 can be expected in May 2023. Students will be able to check their GSEB 10th Result 2023 using roll/seat number on the official website.

Last year, the Gujarat Board Class 10 exams 2022 were conducted from March 28 to April 9 and the result was released on June 6.

Established under “The Gujarat Secondary Education Act 1972”, the board’s major responsibilities (other than conducting board exams) include administering secondary and higher secondary schools, preparing syllabus, and recommending textbooks to be taught in schools in Gujarat. The board is also responsible for tasks such as recognition of new schools and performance evaluation as well as inspection of schools associated with it. GSEB is also the conducting body for GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test).   

As per the data available in an RTE (Right to Education), about 9,500 government and private schools are associated with GSEB.

The GSEB SSC timetable 2023 was released in January 2023. The Gujarat Board Class 10 Time Table 2023 is available on the official website of the state board. GSEB 10th Exam Pattern 2023

The duration of the Gujarat Board SSC examination is 3 hours, as per the GSEB 10th exam pattern 2023. The students need to score a minimum of 33% to be able to qualify. All the students appearing for the GSEB must know the exam pattern to get an insight into the type of questions asked, marking scheme and also the number of questions. Candidates have to appear for the following subjects in the GSEB SSC — First language ( Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sindhi, English, Tamil, Telugu and Odiya), Social Science, Science and Technology, Mathematics, Second language (Gujarati, English, Hindi, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Farsi, Arabic and Urdu).  

GSEB SSC 2023 Admit Card

The board has released the GSEB SSC Admit card 2023 on February 28, 2023 and the school authorities can access it through the official website of the state board. The students can collect their GSEB SSC admit from their schools. The GSEB SSC admit card contains information including the name of the candidate, roll number, examination centre, etc. In case of any discrepancy, students must contact the school authorities immediately.
