In view of increasing COVID19 cases in the state, it has been decided to postpone the HP Board 10th, 12th and UG examinations to May 17, 2021
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has decided to postpone the HPBOSE 10th, 12th exams 2021 to May 17, 2021 in view of rising COVID cases in the state. The Department of Education decided to postpone the HP Board Class 10, 12 and UG Exams 2021 after Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 10th exams were cancelled and 12th exams postponed.
The new exam schedule for the HPBOSE 12th, 10th exams 2021 will be announced on the official website after reviewing the situation. Students must watch this space to stay updated for any release of official notification.
The decision comes after PM Modi held a meeting with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal and top officials to discuss the issue. The Minister stated that the Centre would keep in mind the best interests of the students and ensure that their health is taken care of at the same time their academic interests are not harmed.
The Centre said that the Class 12th exams would be held later and that the situation would be reviewed on June 1 by the Board. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examinations. After CBSE, all eyes on CISCE to take the decision on ICSE, ISC Exams 2021.
Owing to the rising cases of COVID19, the Ashok Gehlot led Rajasthan government has also announced the postponement of RBSE 10th, 12th examinations 2021.
