JKBOSE 10th, 12th exams 2021 ready to be conducted in April, confirms JK school education chairperson

 JKBOSE 12th Jammu examinations for the summer zone will be held from April 1 to April 29, 2021, while, the JKBOSE 10th examinations will be from April 3 to 24, 2021.

The JKBOSE chairperson professor Veena Pandita has confirmed that the state board is ready to conduct the third phase of the examinations in Jammu division in April after successfully conducting the annual regular examination for classes 10, 11 and 12 of 2020 session in Kashmir division, winter zone areas of Jammu division and Ladakh.

"The examinations of summer zone areas of Jammu division, which are normally held in the month of February, have been postponed to April so that the students get some more time to prepare," the chairperson said.

The State Board will be conducting the JKBOSE 12th Jammu examinations for the summer zone from April 1 to April 29, 2021, while, the JKBOSE 10th examinations will be conducted from April 3 to 24, 2021.

The state board has issued a set of instructions to all examination centres to follow all the norms for COVID-19 including social distancing, sanitisation of examination halls, wearing of masks and carrying of water bottles by students among other important things.

The chairperson also said that the state board is "continuously endeavouring for best possible solutions in the interest of students". She also urged students to use the time available to them to the best possible extent to prepare for the ensuing annual examinations."Let us all defeat this pandemic by observing all the SOPs issued in this regard in and around the examination centres," she added.
