According to the reports, a Board official confirmed that the academic committee convened a meeting to decide about the mode of holding exams of Class 11 students.
The JK Board of School Education (JKBOSE) conducted a meeting with its academic committee to decide about holding annual regular exams of the Class 11 students. The meeting also discussed holding annual exams of Class 8 and Class 9 students as well. According to the reports, a Board official confirmed that the academic committee convened a meeting to decide about the mode of holding exams of Class 11 students. The meeting was held a few days ago. The official, however, ruled out any chance of granting mass promotion to the Class 11 students.
The official stated, βThere is no chance of giving mass promotion to students of any class. The government has already announced 30 percent relaxation in syllabus in exams for students of class 10th to 12th.β βOnce the minutes of the meeting held by the academic committee are approved by the government, the final decision about mode of class 11th exams will be announced accordingly,β the official said.
Chairperson JKBOSE, Veena Pandita confirmed to Greater Kashmir that the academic committee meeting was convened a few days ago. She however refused to divulge further details about it. βThe final decision has yet to be announced by the government,β she said.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Board released JKBOSE 12th Bi-Annual Result 2020 for HSE-II of Bi-Annual 2020 Summer Zone of Jammu Division on October 9, 2020. The Jammu and Kashmir Board declared the JKBOSE 12th Bi-Annual Result 2020 for Summer Zone of Jammu Division amid the ongoing pandemic situation. Therefore, the board decided to make the result available to the students only online through e-mode. In order to check the results, students need to log onto jkbose.ac.in and access their scorecard.
