JKBOSE Class 10, 11 Bi-Annual Exam 2025: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed the class 10 and Class 11 bi-annual private exams 2025 scheduled for today, August 27, 2025, due to heavy rainfall and flood-like conditions across the Union Territory. According to the official JKBOSE notification, the class 10 and 11 exams have been deferred in view of continuous rain and bad weather alerts. The notice also states that JKBOSE class 10 and 11 bi-annual exam revised dates will be announced soon.
“It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the examinations scheduled for tomorrow, 27-08-2025 (Wednesday), of the Secondary School Examination (Class 10) and Higher Secondary Examination Part 1 (Class 11), Session Annual (Private)/Bi-Annual 2025 for the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, stand postponed in view of continued inclement weather and flood situations in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads the official notification.

Schools Closed in Jammu and Kashmir Due To Heavy Rain
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir government has declared a shutdown of all schools, colleges, and government offices (excluding essential and law-and-order services) amid the extreme weather warning. This is the third consecutive day since schools have been closed in the Jammu division. As per the Meteorological Department, very heavy rain is expected in the Jammu region for the next 40 hours. Rivers like the Basantar, Tawi, and Chenab have already reached warning levels.
