Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has announced the Gujarat Board 10th (SSC) Result today i.e. June 9 at 6 am. Students who had appeared for the GSEB 10th Board Exam 2020, can now check the GSEB SSC Results 2020 online at gseb.org. Over 11 lakh students had appeared for the class 10th Board exam which was concluded on March 17 according to the GSEB 10th Time Table 2020. While the official release time of the GSEB SSC Results 2020 is 8 am but going by its trend, Gujarat Board released the GSEB 10th Results 2020 earlier i.e. at 6 am. However, the list of toppers, pass percentage and other details would be updated only after the results are announced at 8 am

June 9, 9:15 am: Surat district has topped the chart with 94.66 percent and Ahmedabad with 64.91 percent followed by Rajkot with 64.08 percent.
June 9, 8:55 am: A total of 1,671 students scored the A1 grade. The highest number of students, 1,59,108 students scored C1 grade. There are 23,754 students who scored A2 grade. The number of students in the D grade doubled from the last year. This year close to 14000 students scored D grade.
June 9, 8:45 am: The pass percentage among male students is 56.53% and among female students is 66.02%.
June 9, 8: 15 am: GSEB SSC Exam 2020 was conducted from March 5 to March 17. As many as 10.83 lakh students appeared for the GSEB 10th Board Examinations this year. The pass percentage is recorded at 60.64%. Of the total 10.83 lakh students, 8.40 lakh were regular students and 2.25 lakh were students who were repeating the examination this year. GSEB SSC topper 2020 scored 94.66% marks.
June 9, 7:50 am: GSEB SSC Results 2020 marksheet distribution will take place later. As done in the case of GSEB 12th Science Stream Results 2020, for GSEB SSC results 2020 as well Gujarat Board has not specified any date for the distribution of marksheets among the students. The details about the distribution of original physical copies of GSEB 10th marksheets via schools will be notified by the board at a later date.
June 9, 7:40 am: According to GSEB rules, a student must obtain a minimum of grade 'D' in all subjects to qualify. Those candidates who were only able to obtain grade 'E1' or 'E2' in the subjects will have to improve their performance through subsequent attempts and qualify. The passing standard for a differently-abled candidate is 20%.
June 9, 7:38 am: Last year, 88.11% was the pass percentage of English Medium and 64.58% of the Gujarati Medium students.
June 9, 7: 15 am: The pass percentage, toppers, topper marks and other details would be made available by the Board soon.
June 9, 6: 17 am: As many as 11 lakh students reportedly appeared for the class 10th examinations in Gujarat this year. Gujarat Board usually releases that Class 10 results in May. However, the GSEB SSC results 2020 got delayed this year due to the COVID-19 lockdown. Within the country, however, GSEB is one of the Top 5 boards to release the 10th results. After Bihar, Gujarat SSC Result 2020 has the largest number of students (among the results that have been declared).
June 9, 5:55 am: Official time for the release of GSEB SSC Result 2020 is 8 am. However, following the trend, the board is likely that the results would be uploaded on the official website and opened for students by 6 am. However, the list of toppers, pass percentage and other details would be updated only after the results are announced at 8 am.
June 9, 5:47 am: Official website gseb.org is now updated. The link to check the SSC Results 2020 would be activated soon enough. The board would be announcing the results at 8 am today. However, it is expected that the students may be able to check their GSEB SSC results from 6 am. Keep checking this page for latest updates.
How to check GSEB SSC Results 2020 online
Students can either check their GSEB 10th from the websites mentioned below or can avail the facility of obtaining the Result via SMS. They can follow the steps mentioned below to check their results:
Step 1: Visit the official website of Gujarat Board i.e. http://www.gseb.org/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads ‘Class 10th SSC Results 2020’
Step 3: A new page with input fields will open
Step 4: Enter the seat number
Step 5: Verify the details and click on the Submit button
Step 6: The GSEB 10th Result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
How to check GSEB HSC Results 2020/GSEB SSC Result 2020 via SMS
Students can also check their Gujarat Board 10th Result 2020 via SMS. For the same, they can follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open SMS application on your mobile phone
- Type an SMS in the following format: SSCSeatNumber.
- Send it to 56263.
- GSEB SSC result 2020 will be sent as an SMS on the same number.
Students must note that the GSEB 10th Results 2020 available online or via SMS is for informational purposes only. Students are advised to collect the GSEB 10th original marksheet and passing certificate from their respective school offices.
Gujarat Board Result 2020: Total number of students
This year, around 16 lakh students appeared for Gujarat Board exams, out of which around 6 lakh appeared for the 12th board exams of GSEB and the rest for 10th board exams of GSEB
Gujarat Board SSC and HSC exams were conducted between March 5 and March 21 this year. However, the 10th board results and 12th board results got delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide lockdown imposed after March 24, 2020. With reports, students waiting for 10th board results 2020 and 12th board results 2020 would not have to wait much longer.
What after Gujarat Board 10th Result 2020 declaration?
After the declaration of GSEB SSC Results 2020, students will be able to get admissions in class 11th with their preferred choice of stream.

GSEB SSC Results 2020: Re-evaluation
After the declaration of the GSEB SSC Results 2020 if any student is not satisfied with his/her marks then s/he can apply for GSEB SSC re-evaluation. The state will release the official dates of registration for revaluation 15 days after the announcement of GSEB SSC Result 2020. Students can visit the official website of Gujarat Board to apply for the same and pay the fee as mentioned:
- Re-evaluation Fees for 1 subject - Rs 100
- Re-evaluation Fees for all subjects - Rs 500
