As per the state education minister, Varsha Gaikwad, Class 10 results will be declared by June end.

Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSC) released the details of Maharashtra SSC assessment methodology. According to the evaluation criteria, a maximum of 100 marks will be awarded for each subject according to the following break-up:

    • Internal marks based on the performance during the academic year – 30 per cent
    • Homework/Orals/Practical based evaluation – 20 per cent
    • Marks scored in Class 9 – 50 per cent

Students who are dissatisfied with the evaluation method and the marks awarded can appear for the improvement examinations which will be conducted once the pandemic situation normalizes.

Every school will form a seven-member committee headed by principal to tabulate the Mah SSC Result 2021. Any malpractice at school level will be fined and disciplinary action will be taken.

The board also informed that it will release the Maharashtra SSC result 2021 by June end.

The time table for evaluation process and its completion will be announced soon. The board will also decide on the evaluation pattern for external students, repeaters and students attempting few subjects.

For admissions to FYJC, optional CET will be held for 100 marks in MCQ pattern for two hours. The syllabus will be based on Mah SSC. Students who appear for the CET will be given preference for FYJC admissions, and then if any seat is left vacant, will be offered to students who did not appear for the examination based on the Class 10 evaluation.
