About the Board

Maharashtra Board conducts School Leaving Certificate Examination (SSC) for Class 10 students every year. This year, the Mah SSC exams 2021 will be conducted between April 29 and May 20. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is responsible for setting the curriculum, timetable, textbooks, and more. Maharashtra SSC exams include subjects such as English, Social Science, Hindi, Marathi, Science, and Mathematics. Around 1,700,000 students appear for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams. The Board has reduced the Maharashtra SSC Syllabus 2021 for the current academic session due to COVID19 pandemic.

Mah Board has released the Maharashtra 10th timetable 2021 on February 16, 2021 on the official website. The examinations will be conducted in April/May 2021, in two sessions- morning and afternoon and Maharashtra SSC Result 2021 will be released in August. Students can check the same using roll number and mother's first name.

Last year, the Maharashtra Board released the Maharashtra SSC Timetable in October 2019. The Examinations were conducted between March 3 and March 23, 2020. The result of Mah 10th was released on July 29 on the official website. The last exam of Geography subject was cancelled in the wake of COVID-19 spread in the country which was followed by the lockdown. Average marks for cancelled Geography paper were awarded. The overall pass percentage last year was 95.30.

Maharashtra SSC Time Table 2021

The board has released the Maharashtra SSC 2021 time table on February 16, 2021. Exams will be conducted between April 29 and May 20 2021. Last year, the Maharashtra Board SSC time table was released on October 15, 2019, on mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in. As per the Maharashtra SSC time table 2020, the exams are held in two slots: Morning session and evening session. Maharashtra 10th Board exams started from March 3, 2020, with the First Language paper. The Maharashtra SSC exams ended on March 21, with Social Science (Paper 2).

Maharashtra SSC Syllabus 2021

MSBSHSE prescribes the SSC syllabus for the class. The syllabus mentions all the chapters and topics to be covered while preparing for the examination, subject-wise. Students must make sure they know the correct and complete Mah SSC syllabus so as to not waste any time covering irrelevant topics. This year, the board has reduced the syllabus of Mah 10th by 25%.

Last year, the result was delayed and released on July 29, 2020. Due to COVID-19 lockdown, the evaluation process got delayed and so the declaration of results. Around 17 lakh students appeared for Maharashtra board 10th result 2020. Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education conducted MSBSHSE SSC exams 2020 from March 3 to 21.
