MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams which were scheduled to be conducted from April 30, 2021, are now postponed until June 2021, as per reports.
The Madhya Pradesh government has decided to postpone the MP Board 10th as well as MP Board 12th examinations 2021, as per the latest reports. The step comes amid a surge in COVID cases in the state and across the nation. MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams which were scheduled to be conducted from April 30, 2021, are now postponed until June 2021. The revised dates will be released by the board soon.
Earlier, the state board had revised the time table as per which the examinations that were scheduled from May 15 were postponed to be conducted from April 30. Now, these examinations also stand postponed due to the second wave of coronavirus.
As per media portals, Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said, βThe MP board exam 2021 will be conducted after May 30. Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, it is decided to extend the exam dates. Also, schools for Class 1 to 8 students will be closed till June 15, 2021."
He further said that the ongoing situations do not allow organising the exam on scheduled dates. "We will issue fresh dates in the next few days. The practical exams are also extended. We have instructed the officials to conduct exams by May 15, 2021,β he added.
Earlier, the practice exams were scheduled to begin on April 17, 2021. Students must keep checking the official MPBSE website for such updates.
On April 10, the state board had released the MP Board 10th Admit Card 2021 as well as the MP Board 12th Admit Card 2021.
