Puducherry government declared all students of classes 1 to 9 as 'all pass' for this academic year.
Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan gave her approval to a proposal to declare the students of Classes 1 to 9 as 'all pass' for this academic year, A release from Raj Nivas (office of Lt Governor) stated that the Lieutenant Governor has approved the proposal of the School Education department to declare as 'all pass' students of Classes 1 to 9 in all the four regions of the Union Territory.
Students of Classes 10 and 11 in Puducherry and Karaikal regions (adopting Tamil Nadu pattern of curriculum) would be granted 'all pass' according to the guidelines of Tamil Nadu State Board of Education. Similarly, students of Classes 10 and 11 in Mahe and Yanam regions would be promoted as per the guidelines of the Boards of Education in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh respectively.
All schools would function till March 31 for Classes 1 to 9 for five days a week. Summer vacation would commence on April 1. Classes for students of 10th, 11th and 12th would be conducted according to the schedule of examinations of the respective State Boards of Education.
Students preparing for 12th board examinations must be done with their syllabus by now. They must ensure to cover all the topics mentioned in the syllabus. It is also important to know the exam pattern to get familiar with the marking scheme, duration of exam and the kinds of questions asked in the exam. In order to score well, students should download and practice the previous years' question papers to know the areas that need improvement.
