The ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan on the occasion of vigilance awareness week. The theme of the competition was- "corruption free India - a developed India".
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) hosted an essay writing competition from October 3 to 11, 2022 in collaboration with the central vigilance commission. Schools affiliated to CBSE all across the country conducted the competition and recorded the participation of 7.65 lakh students. Out of these, only 5 students became the winners of the competition and were felicitated by prime minister Narendra Modi. The ceremony was held at Vigyan Bhawan on the occasion of vigilance awareness week. The theme of the competition was- "corruption free India - a developed India".
CBSE chairperson, Nidhi Chibber and CBSE secretary Anurag Tripathi also attended the programme. The winners of the CBSE central vigilance commission essay writing competition 2022 were from all over the country.
The first place was secured by Askhat Pandey from Little World School, Tilwara, Jabalpur, MP. The second place at the competition went to Yashvi Daddha from St. Anne's Sr. Sec. School, Jodhpur. The third position secured by Anjali Sinha from Ursuline Convent Senior Secondary School, Greater Noida. Followed by Siri Konda from TVS School, Hirehalli Tumkur, Karnataka in the fourth place and in fifth place was Sania Dekari from - Budding Buds Senior Secondary School Tinsukia Assam. The competition saw participants from all across India.
