According to the official information released by the TN Board, a total of 1041 class 10 and 184 class 12 students appeared for the supplementary examinations which commenced on the first day.

TN 10th 12th Supply Exam Begins! Tamil Nadu state board commenced the class 10 and 12 supplementary examinations for the students from Monday, i.e. September 21, 2020. According to the official information released by the TN Board, a total of 1041 class 10 and 184 class 12 students appeared for the supplementary examinations which commenced on the first day. According to the schedule provided, the TN 10th supplementary examinations will be conducted until September 26, 2020, while the TN 12th supplementary exams will be conducted until  September 28, 2020.  

TN 10th 12th Supply Registration

The official information states that in the School Education department a total of 1200 candidates register for the Tamil Nadu 10th board supplementary examinations and 991 students appeared for the examinations. A total of 381 students appeared for the exams under the new syllabus and 619 appeared in the old syllabus. 50 disabled students also appeared for the class 10 supplementary examinations. However, the official data released by the Board states that 201 candidates registered for the TN 12th examinations from which 156 appeared under the new syllabus and 23 appeared in the old syllabus. The five disabled candidates who registered also appeared for the exams.

The class 12 Tamil Nadu board supplementary exams were conducted in 12 exam centres while the class 10 exams were conducted in 16 exam centres. The students were screened at the examination centres for body temperature and were made to wash their hands using soap. Social distancing was also maintained in individual classrooms with 8 candidates seated in each class.
