TN 10th, 12th Time Table 2021 to be announced soon

TN SSLC, HSE time table 2021 would be announced soon after CBSE Board exam dates are announced by the centre, informed education minister K A Sengottaiyan.

Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu will soon announce the TN timetable 2021 for 10^th, 12^th. The Education Minister of the state, K A Sengottaiyan said that the board exam dates would be released soon after clarity on CBSE 2021 exam dates by the Centre. The exam dates for SSC, HSE +1, +2 would be made available to students on the official website soon after the declaration. According to reports, the state government has ruled out reports on declaring 2021-20 a ‘zero academic year’ due to COVID19. A zero-academic year is one during which no academic activities are conducted, including exams and classes which is not the case.

The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will be announcing the date of commencement of CBSE Board Exams 2021 on December 31 at 6 pm. The exams would not be conducted in January or February, and students will be given enough time for preparation, as told by him earlier.

Soon after the declaration of CBSE board exam dates, the Tamil Nadu government will decide the schedule of the state board exams as dates of NEET 2021 and JEE 2021 would also be decided based on these dates, said the state education minister.

Meanwhile, when asked about the reopening of schools in the state, the minister said that the state will take a decision considering all the aspects of the rising of COVID19 cases among students in other states where schools have reopened. For now, schools will remain closed in January.
