Once the Tamil Nadu Plus Two Result 2020 is announced; students can check it on the Board's official website i.e. tnresults.nic.in. The result, however, has been delayed further, know when and where to check.

Tamil Nadu Plus Two Results 2020: The Directorate of Government Exams, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE), which earlier said that it will be announcing the Tamil Nadu Board class 12 result 2020 by 5 PM on July 7, did not announce the result on the day. Now, the officials have confirmed Shiksha.com that it won't be announcing the Tamil Nadu 12th Results 2020 this week, however, will be declaring the Tamil Nadu 12th Result date soon. With the coronavirus outbreak in the country, the Tamil Nadu HSE Result 2020 has been delayed for over 9 lakh students, who have been eagerly waiting for the results from long time. These students will now have to wait longer for the TN Plus Two Results 2020 to be announced.

 As per media reports, the board did not announce the result as it is re-thinking to first conduct the re-exam of 671 students; the re-exams were earlier rescheduled to take place on June 25 but could not be conducted due to the COVID-19 lockdown in the state. As per the report, the decision on announcing the result will be taken soon.

TIn 2019, TN Plus Two results were announced on April 19. Last year, according to the12^th board result Tamil Nadu stats, 91.3 per cent students qualified for higher education.

Previously, the Tamil Nadu Class 10 board exams were canceled, as conducting exams during COVID-19 lockdown was not possible. Students will be promoted on the basis of internal assessment marks and attendance. However, the date for TN 10th result 2020 is yet to be decided. Tamil Nadu also cancelled the remaining papers of the Class 11 final exam.

Once released, students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 Board Exams 2020 can check TN 12th result 2020 by following the given steps:

• Visit the TN Board's official website at tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in
• Click on TN HSC result 2020. A login window of result will open on the screen
• Enter registration number followed by the date of birth in appropriate fields. (Note: enter date of birth in this format: dd/mm/yyyy)
• Click on ‘Get marks’
• The result will open on the screen. Check the details carefully
• Take a printout or screenshot and keep it safe for further reference

Students can download  'Tamilnadu Board Result 2020, SSLC & HSC Result' onto their smartphones from Google Playstore to check their TN HSC Result 2020 using App. All they need to do is to click on Tamilnadu 12th Result 2020, enter the roll number and other details needed and submit. The Class 12th Results will open up on the screen.

To check the TN 12th result 2020 via SMS, students need to enter their registration number and date of birth in the format of DD / MM / YYYY as shown below:
