TS Inter Digital Classes POSTPONED! According to the latest update the digital classes for the intermediate students of Telangana that were scheduled to begin from August 17, now stand postponed. The Department of Intermediate Education, Telangana informed that the online classes would not begin from today. The department will announce the new dates soon. The decision to postpone the TS Inter online classes is taken due to the continuous and heavy rainfall across the state. The education department informed the students on August 16, 2020, that the inauguration of the online classes which was to be done by the Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy is now postponed.
The circular released by the department read, β The Department of Intermediate Education, is proposed to begin the digital classes for the intermediate students through Doordarshan and T-SAT from August 17, 2020. The inauguration of Digital classes for intermediate students by the minister of education Sabitha Indra Reddy is postponed because of continuous heavy rain in the state.β
The government teachers who were asked to report to schools today are asked to wait until further instructions released. Telanganaβs department of education planned to conduct digital classes for 30 per cent syllabus of every subject as the schools are closed due to the ongoing pandemic situation. According to the information released earlier, the digital classes would be telecast through Doordarshan-Yadagiri and T-Network channels- Vidya and Nipuna for about two hours twice a day. Students would also be able to access the subject wise digital content on the YouTube channel of the department in case they miss out on any information. This content is being prepared by the junior lecturers of the government junior colleges.
However, students who gave their TS Inter Board Exams and got their TS Intermediate Results 2020 must know that the degree admission will commence from August 20. Degree admission in colleges in Telangana is done through the DOST website. DOST offers a single window for those seeking admission into any of the undergraduate courses (BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BCA, BBM) in any of the state universities (Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Palamuru, Mahatma Gandhi, Sathavahana Universities).
