The Telangana School Education Department decided on scaling of 20 per cent of internal assessment marks to 100 per cent. All Class 10 students to be promoted.

TS SSC Results 2021: The Directorate of Government Education, Telangana has decided to promote all SSC or class 10/ OSSC/ Vocational students to the next class.

The official notification reads that the government reviewed the Covid19 pandemic situation in the state and has decided to declare the TS SSC results as pass for all the students of Class 10 as a one-time measure. The marks will be awarded after duly considering their performance in internal assessments for 20 per cent (one formative assessment was conducted instead of two formative assessments due to Covid19). The department will be scaling 20 per cent of internal assessment marks to 100 per cent. Students will be awarded grades instead of marks. They can obtain their school memos or mark sheets from principals of their respective schools, once the result is out.

Therefore, all schools under various managements during the academic year 2020-21 have to announce the TS SSC results based on the aforementioned evaluation criteria and promote all students to Class 11.

The decision comes after the board decided to cancel TS SSC exams scheduled to be held from May 17. Earlier, CBSE, CISCE and other state boards also decided on cancelling Class 10th exams and postponing the Class 12 examinations 2021.

Once released, students will be able to check their TS SSC Result 2021 on the official websites- bse.telangana.gov.in, results.cgg.gov.in using their roll number and date-of-birth mentioned in the hall ticket. Students are advised on visiting this page regularly to stay updated on the release of result.
