The postponement is likely to be announced in light of increasing COVID cases.
Originally scheduled to begin from April 24, the UP Class 10 and Class 12 exam dates were revised later. They were rescheduled to be conducted from May 8 due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, but the exams were postponed altogether.
It is found that the 17 officers out of 19 who handle the board exams tested positive for COVID-19. Now, the UP board is likely to make a decision on the postponement of the examination dates again. Students must keep visiting the official UPMSP website for such updates.
As of May 1, with 303 more COVID-19 deaths in Uttar Pradesh, the fatality count in the state reached 12,874 on Saturday, while 30,317 fresh cases made the infection tally reach 12,82,504.
Meanwhile, UP Board has reduced the Class 10, 12 Syllabus for the academic year 2020-21 by 30% due to COVID-19. Students must be well aware of the complete revised syllabus prescribed by the UP Board examinations.
