The UPMSP has decided to cancel the Class 10 examinations 2021 after delaying it twice.
After CBSE, ICSE, JKBOSE, GSEB, HPBOSE, NIOS, among others, now, UP Board has decided to cancel the UP Board Class 10 examinations in view of the COVID-19 second wave. The same has been announced on May 29, 2021 by the Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma. The students will be promoted to the next grade.
Earlier, it was reported that the 17 officers out of 19 who handle the board exams tested positive for COVID-19.
The Deputy CM also said that the board students of Classes 6, 7 and 8 in the state will be promoted to their next class. Students of Classes 9 and 11 will be promoted to the next class as per a studentβs performance in the annual examination. If a school has not conducted the annual examination, then students will get promoted to the next class based on the internal assessment done by the student throughout the year. If no internal assessment is available, then general promotion should be given to the student, informed the Deputy CM.
He also said that the UP Board 12th examinations will be conducted in the second week of July in favourable conditions.
The duration of the question paper has been reduced to one and a half hours instead of three hours. Moreover, the students will have an option to answer three questions out of given 10 questions.
The detailed UP Board 12th time table 2021 will soon be released by the state board.
