More than 50 lack students preparing to appear in UP Board 10th and UP Board 12th Exams will compulsorily have to appear in pre-board exams this time.

UP Board Exams 2021: According to the latest reports, more than 50 lack students preparing to appear in UP Board 10thand UP Board 12th Exams will compulsorily have to appear in pre-board exams this time. The reports also suggest that in order to test the preparation of children studying online amid corona, UP Board secretary Divyakant Shukla instructed all the Board affiliated schools which is more than 28,000 to conduct pre-board examination in the third or fourth week of February 2021 as indicated in the boardโ€™s academic calendar.

While talking to the media, Shukla said that teaching work in various classes through online or offline modes will be completed by January 31, 2021. After that, the pre-board examination will be conducted. Earlier, there was no compulsory pre-board examination for UP Board schools. Many schools used to conduct it with the aim of assessing preparations of its UP Board 12th and UP Board 10th students.

The novel coronavirus outbreak in the Country affected the studies a lot. Itโ€™s the first time students would complete the entire academic year online. The Board believes that accessing students studying online is important. Considering the pandemic situation, the Board would decide whether to conduct the pre-board online or offline โ€œWhether this pre-board exam will be held online or offline will depend on the situation in the wake of the corona pandemic,โ€ Shukla said.

According to the government orders, UP Board secretary Divyakant Shukla will review the progress of online studies every week. Mr Shukla is also given the responsibility of receiving weekly reports of students and their progress using virtual schools and โ€˜e-Gyan Gangaโ€™ as education mediums from all divisional joint directors (secondary education) and supervising the overall process. He is also entrusted with the responsibility of preparing question banks for students, evaluating them and ensuring the availability of textbooks for them.
