UP Board Exam 2026: To review preparations for classes 10th and 12th board exam, a meeting was held through video conferencing. The meeting was chaired by Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and attended by District Magistrates of all districts. While sharing details of UP Board exams 2026, Additional Chief Secretary highlighted steps taken in previous years to prevent cheating.┬а
He directed officials to ensure that CCTV cameras with voice recorders installed in exam rooms and premises are fully functional. Opening of UP Board question paper packets must be done under CCTV surveillance. District authorities have been instructed to keep control rooms active, with working phone numbers and email systems to receive complaints during UPMPS board exams.
Meetings, Training and Public Awareness Campaigns Before UP Board Exams┬а
District Magistrates have been asked to hold meetings with officials before board exams to review arrangements and provide necessary training. They are also directed to involve parents and media representatives in awareness campaigns to reassure that exams will be conducted smoothly, reducing stress among students.
Security Measures Ordered for UPMSP Board Exams 2026┬а
Special instructions have been issued regarding security and lighting arrangements at question paper rooms located at district headquarters. Deployment of armed forces, nighttime random checks, continuous monitoring of sensitive centres, appointment of static magistrates, enforcement of Section 163 of BNNS, uninterrupted power supply and ban on photocopy shops near exam centres have been instructed. Additional Chief Secretary has also ordered special monitoring of highly sensitive centres with help of STF and LIU.
Action Against Misinformation on Social Media┬а
Circle Officers and Station Heads are instructed to conduct continuous patrolling and take strict action against anti-social elements involved in illegal printing, publishing or spreading misleading information, including uploading old question papers on social media platforms.
Chief Secretary directed District Magistrates of 18 sensitive districts, identified based on past cases of mass copying, paper leaks or law-and-order issues, to exercise extra caution during the exams. He also stressed that UP Board question paper packets must be opened carefully, as per exam date and shift. Under no circumstances should a paper of wrong subject be opened. Legal action will be taken against anyone obstructing fair exams under Uttar Pradesh Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
