IIM Ahmedabad Final Placement 2026 report is out for PGP batch. According to the institute, the record of 100 percent placement continues, with all the students getting placed across 26 cohorts. Key hiring was done in consulting, finance, technology and emerging sectors.

IIM Ahmedabad placement cycle for the PGP batch of 2024-2026 began with the lateral placement process held between January 5 and 15, 2026. In the lateral placement process, the candidates with prior work experience were hired for mid and senior-level roles. The final placement process followed in which top companies selected candidates for various roles across domains and sectors.

Following previous years’ trends, consulting domain dominated the IIM Ahmedabad placement process 2026 with Boston Consulting Group emerging as the largest recruiter with 33 offers, followed by McKinsey & Company (21) and Bain & Company (20).

In BFSI and Marketing, Goldman Sachs was the top recruiter with six offers. Citibank made four 4 offers. Among conglomerates, Another highlight of IIM Ahmedabad Final Placement 2026, was the Essar Group making 8 offers. Top other conglomerates such as Tata Group, Aditya Birla Group, Godrej Group, and Mahindra Group, also made their presence felt.

Private equity, venture capital, and asset management cohort saw notable rise of 45% rise in job offers, Blackstone, General Atlantic, and Temasek were major recruiters in this cohort.

Additionally, several cohorts that recorded a significant rise in hiring include analytics & IT consulting (150%), consumer services (150%), pharmaceuticals & healthcare (60%), renewable energy & greentech (50%), and advisory consulting (45%). IIM Ahmedabad also witnessed expansion in recruiter participation across sectors such as fintech, logistics, advertising, and media.
