IRMA commences 42nd batch of its PGDM (RM)

IRMA commenced classes for its 42^nd batch (2021-23) of its flagship PGDM in Rural Management via online mode.

IRMA Admissions 2021: Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) commenced the academic session for its 42^nd batch (2021-23) of its flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management), the PGDM (RM). According to the official information shared by the institute on its Twitter handle, IRMA has commenced classes for its 42^nd batch (2021-23) of its flagship PGDM in Rural Management via online mode. The decision to commence classes virtually was taken considering the ongoing pandemic situation.

The institute commenced the classes after a week of induction and orientation. Amidst the ongoing pandemic, the institute looked for an alternate and adapted to the challenge of the online induction and orientation process by gearing up with its IT infrastructure, enabling a seamless process through online platforms.

Meanwhile, the institute has begun classes for the 41^st batch (2020-22) in hybrid mode (a mixture of online and physical sessions). The Institute hopes to have the same in the near future for the incoming 42^nd batch (2021-23) as well. Like last year, they have equipped 8 classrooms with IT infrastructure to facilitate learning.

There are a total of 252 participants in the 42nd batch of the PGDM (RM). Close to 27 per cent of the batch has previous work experience. The batch represents regional diversity with representation from 21 States and UTs, which reflects a healthy combination from different parts of the country. The participants in the batch come from diverse academic backgrounds, i.e. Engineering, Commerce, Science, Management, Humanities, and Dairy Engineering backgrounds, from reputed institutes.
