The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct Class 10 Maths Term 1 Exam today (December 4). The exam will begin at 11:30 am and will continue till 1 pm. Students must reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before that exam timing.  

The exam will be conducted in MCQ format and students will be given an option to choose between basic Maths and standard Maths. Both exams will be of 40 marks and students will have to answer 40 questions in 90 minutes. The paper contains three sections – Section A, B and C. Section A and B will have 20 questions and students will have to attempt 16, while Section C will have 10 questions based on two case studies of which students will have to attempt eight questions. All questions will be of one mark each.

This year, more than 21 lakh students are appearing for CBSE Class 10 term 1 exam 2021, whereas around 12 lakh students are appearing for CBSE 12 exam 2021. Class 10 exams began on November 30, 2021, and will continue till December 11, 2021. Meanwhile, the board) in its latest notification has sent directions to all school heads and exam centre superintendents to print CBSE question papers in only one language - English or Hindi.
