AKTU inks MoU with forensic science institute to boost technical education
The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at an event organised by the Department of Home.
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh State Institute of Forensic Science, Lucknow (UPSIFS) to enhance technical education. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at an event organised by the Department of Home.
The additional district general of technical services signed the memorandum on behalf of the home department. A government official said AKTU would provide Rs 200 crore to the forensic science institute for two decades at zero interest rate to bolster technical education.
AKTU has recently laid the foundation stone of the first government pharmacy institute in Barabanki on May 30. Students planning to make a career in pharmacy will soon get the opportunity to pursue the courses of their choice in a hi-tech government pharmacy institute. Reports suggest that AKTU is likely to begin the first academic session of the pharmacy institute by next year with a batch of 60 students at the undergraduate level. Gradually, the institute will be developed as a dedicated research centre in the pharmaceutical sector.
Meanwhile, the varsity has declared the final year results for BTech and BPharma students. Students who have appeared for the exams can now visit the AKTU official website to check their results. To download results, students will have to log in to the university website with their roll numbers.
Meanwhile, National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the re-extension of the UPCET 2021 application form last date. Candidates will now be able to apply for UPCET 2021 till June 20 on the official website - upcet.nta.nic.in. Previously, the final date to apply for UPCET 2021 had been extended till May 31.
