Allahabad University Exams 2021: UG first year, PG odd semester students to be promoted without exam

The UG first-year students will be mass promoted to the second year. They will be issued final mark sheets on the basis of their UG second-year examinations.

Allahabad University Exams 2021: Allahabad University has announced that it has cancelled the Allahabad University Exam 2021 for the first-year undergraduate and odd semester postgraduate students. The varsity has decided that students will be mass promoted as of now to the respective higher classes.

The decision was taken during a meeting held by the examination committee during which certain mass promotion criteria have been discussed.

The UG first-year students will be mass promoted to the second year. They will be issued final mark sheets on the basis of their UG second-year examinations. In case, students are not satisfied with this decision, they can appear for Allahabad University Exam 2021 scheduled to be held in September 2021.

Allahabad University Exam 2021: Special exam for UG first year students

Allahabad University has given an option to students, who would like to appear for the first-semester examination, to register themselves with full details. Students can go to the Allahbad University counter to register themselves. Students must note that the varsity will conduct the examination only if the COVID-19 conditions in permissible. The examination will be conducted in online mode in September 2021. 
The PG and professional course students belonging to the odd semester will be promoted to the higher semester. More information can be obtained on the official website of the University of Allahabad, allduniv.ac.in.

Allahabad University Exam 2021: Promotion criteria for PG regular students

Students can check the promotion criteria below:

• Minimum marks awarded will be the pass mark
• Highest mark awarded will be the maximum mark minus 2 of any subject
• Pass mark will be awarded separately for internal assessment and end semester examination
• The marks awarded for the end semester examination will be 1.5 times that of the internal assessment
• The promotion criteria for ex or failed students varies from the regular students. Allahabad University Exam 2021 for the final semester and even semester PG and professional students will be held in October 2021.
