Anna University retest POSTPONED! Revised timetable to be released soon

The arrear exam for those UG/PG students who failed in Nov 2019 and April 2020 online exams were also scheduled to start from May 17, 2021.

Anna University re-exam postponed: Anna University postponed the re-exam scheduled for the UG, PG and PhD students who were not able to attend exams due to Internet connectivity and other issues. According to the reports, the revised Anna University retest timetable 2021 will be released soon. Earlier, the Anna University retest was scheduled to be conducted on May 17, 2021. However, the University decided to defer the re-exam for now. As per the official notice released by the University, “Anna University Retest, which was scheduled to start from 17-05-2021 is postponed. The Time-Table for these exams will be announced sooner”. Earlier, the Anna University received directions from the Tamil Nadu government to conduct the re-exam for the students who failed in the November/December semester examinations. The decision regarding the conduct of the re-exams will be announced by Anna University after reviewing the COVID 19 pandemic situation.

The TN government notice also read that the students appearing for the retest need not pay any extra fee. The semester results of several students were withheld by the University earlier alleging malpractices, suspicion of malpractice, etc. However, Anna University Retest scheduled, which was scheduled on May 17, 2021, has been postponed now.
