Calicut University Admissions 2021: Calicut University has decided not to conduct online exams for sixth-semester undergraduate students and fourth-semester postgraduate students in its affiliated colleges and distance education centres. Calicut University students must note that the exams will begin in colleges from June 15 and the varsity will release the results by July 31. On May 30, a standing committee of the syndicate of Calicut University took the decision not to conduct the exams virtually. Vice-Chancellor MK Jayaraj has called a meeting of college teachers’ associations on Monday to discuss the conduct of exams in colleges. Members of the Syndicate committee will be present at the meeting.
However, according to sources, online exams will be held for students in engineering colleges on the lines of what was done by the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. A final decision is yet to be taken on holding online exams for students in various departments on the Calicut University campus. The sources said that detailed discussions would be held on the issue.
Meanwhile, the University commenced the application process for admission to Entrance Examination based Post Graduate (PG) Programmes for 2021-22. Calicut University is offering admission to various postgraduate programmes such as MSc, MCom, MA at University Teaching Departments and its various affiliated colleges/ centres. Candidates interested in Calicut University Admission 2021 are required to submit applications online at www.cuonline.ac.in. Those awaiting the results of the qualifying examination can also apply. All those seeking admission including those who seek admission under the Management quota in affiliated/self-financing colleges shall register online and appear for the entrance examination.
