The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) has begun the admission process for its Postgraduate and PhD degree courses for the Academic Session 2021-22. The admission process for 44 Masters Degree and 31 PhD courses will end on September 1, 2021. The University is offering 1,334 seats in 44 PG Programmes this time, for which the online registrations and submission of the Application Form can be done from CUCET 2021 official website; i.e. cucet.nta.nic.in.

Along with this, the University will be offering 151 seats for 31 PhD courses and applications for CUPB Admission 2021 in PhD courses can be submitted by candidates online through the official website of the CUPB.

The university will conduct a special Entrance Test for students seeking admission in PhD courses. The applicants who have qualified NET-JRF, UGC/ CSIR/ ARSB-NET, ICMR-JRF, GATE, GPAT, DBT-BET, & JEST (Physics) will get an exemption from the PhD. Entrance Test test and will be allowed to directly appear in the Interview.

The University provides diverse academic courses such as Computer Science and Technology, Cyber Security, Food Science and Technology, Biochemistry, Botany, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology, Medicinal Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Environmental Science and Technology, Geography, Geology, Human Genetics, Molecular Medicine, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Agribusiness, Education, Journalism and Mass Communication, Political Sciences, English, Hindi, Punjabi, Fine Arts, Economics, History, Psychology, Sociology, Physical Education, Library and Information Sciences, Performing Arts, Law and Commerce.

The CUPB has also got the approval to introduce a new PG Programme - ‘Masters in Politics and International Relations’ from Academic Year 2021-22.
