DTU Launches Yogi Goswami Clean Energy Laboratory to Advance Sustainable Innovation

Yogi Goswami Clean Energy Laboratory has been inaugurated at Delhi Technological University by Ashish Sood, Minister of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. Established under Nodal Centre of Excellence in Energy Transition, laboratory has been made possible through contribution of Prof. Yogi Goswami, Distinguished Alumnus of DTU from Class of 1969. The ceremony was graced by Prof. Yogi Goswami class of 1969, Dr. D.D. Aggarwal class of 1967, Anjali Sehrawat, Director, DTTE, Prof. Prateek Sharma, Vice Chancellor, DTU, Prof. Narendra Kumar, Registrar, DTU, and Prof. Vishal Verma, Director, NCEET, DTU.

Yogi Goswami Clean Energy Lab symbolises significant milestone in DTU’s commitment to advancing national vision of sustainability and supporting India’s Net-Zero target for 2070. Conceived as hub of innovation, Lab will foster collaboration between academia, industry, and society to develop practical, scalable, and sustainable solutions for energy transition.

Q:   BA (Hons) Economics at DTU is for how many years?
A: 

As a maximum of the offered BA courses in India, the DTU also offers a three-year BA (Hons) Economics course. Further, the course is divided into six semesters and offered in full-time mode. Applicants who are planning to get enrolled in the BA course must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria and must get selected in the admission process.

Q:   Is DTU a good option for MTech?
A: 

The highest salary for M.Tech at DTU stood at INR 64 LPA for the academic year 2025. Other than the placements, DTU has been ranked 2nd position in the 'overall' category. In the 'University' category, it was ranked 42nd, while in the 'Engineering' category, it was ranked 30th. Hence, it is considered a good option for MTech. Further, as per the verified students’ reviews on Shiksha, the institute offers all the necessary amenities to the students. Hence, DTU can be considered a decent option for MTech.

A: 

In 2022, DTU got ranked at position 35 for the Engineering category. Hence, it is considered a good option for MTech.
