Delhi University (DU) has released fresh data for its ongoing undergraduate admissions 2025–26. In latest Spot Round, a total of 29,819 students submitted applications, out of which 7,908 students have been allocated seats, according to the official figures. Spot Round gives students who missed earlier rounds or are seeking upgrades another chance to get admission in popular UG programmes.
DU Spot Round Sees Strong Response
Spot Round conducted by DU attracted nearly 30,000 applicants, reflecting the continued rush for Delhi University’s limited UG seats. With just 7,908 allocations, competition remained intense as aspirants scrambled for last opportunities in top colleges and courses.
Earlier Rounds Filled Over 67,000 UG Seats
By conclusion of Round 3, the university confirmed 67,582 UG admissions, alongside allotments under Extracurricular Activities (ECA), Sports, and Children of War Widows (CW) quotas on August 15. In Round 2, over 68,000 students had confirmed seats, with 7,685 securing course or college upgrades.

No, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2027 registrations have not commenced yet. The registration window will be active at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2027 notification in first week of January. Soon after the release of the CUET official notification, the CUET registration 2027 process will commence online at the official website.
