DU Exams 2022: Delhi University has announced that all those students who will appear for the offline exams, which are being held after a gap of two years, will get an additional 30 minutes. The varsity will also get more choices in the question paper as a special one-time measure. The Delhi University had started holding online open-book exams (OBE) for students during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Students of 1st, 3rd and 5th semesters appeared for the online open-book exams recently. Students of the 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters will appear for exams in the physical mode that are likely to be conducted in May and June. The Delhi University in an official notification announced that the duration of each exam has been extended by 30 minutes as a special one-time measure. 

"Faculty/Department will be requested to give additional choices in the Question Paper, wherever applicable. Those students who have filled the Examination Form and are not able to appear for it due to justifiable reasons may be given another chance to appear for the same. For that purpose, Phase-II of the aforesaid examination will be conducted for the leftover (remaining) students," the notification stated.

Delhi University also directed the faculties, departments and colleges to provide study material to needy students. Various faculties and departments will also be requested to conduct mock tests in addition to class tests.

Earlier, the University had urged the students to refrain from adopting unfair means during the Open Book Examinations that are underway. In a notice, the Dean of Examination said some students appearing in the examination are using unfair means using various websites.
