NSUI Goa has also warned the GU to clear the mess and declare the results along with mark sheets in all the colleges as soon as possible latest by tomorrow or else they will go to any extent to protect the future of students and GU will be responsible for this.
After Goa University failed to declare the results of 50 per cent of the students, National Students' Union of India (NSUI) President Naushad Chowdhari termed the varsity staff as pathological liars. "A series of events make them pathological liars, first GU had notified that final-year results will be declared on August 3 which they failed to do so then they changed it to August 5 again they failed to do so. After which NSUI Goa filed a complaint against GU to the Governor of Goa and referring to this GU released a press note citing us and assured that they will declare the results by 16th August which eventually they failed to fulfill their own promise and betrayed the final year students once again," he said.
"On August 19, GU informed us that it declared the results and it has been sent to all the colleges, after which NSUI Goa investigated and surveyed all the colleges and found out that more than 17th colleges' results are not even declared which is more than 50 per cent of the college students," he said, as reported by TimesNow.
He also alleged the varsity of fooling students and playing with the future of final-year students. "With no mark sheets, the final-year students are struggling to get admission to higher education colleges and for employment purposes. Few of the students didn't get admissions due to the non-availability of final-year mark sheets," he said.
NSUI Goa has also warned the GU to clear the mess and declare the results along with mark sheets in all the colleges as soon as possible latest by tomorrow or else they will go to any extent to protect the future of students and GU will be responsible for this.
