Gujarat University Exams 2021 POSTPONED! Revised schedule to be out soon

According to the official circular released by the university, the revised timetable and date sheet for the deferred exam would be released by next week.

Gujarat University Exams 2021 Postponed: The University of Gujarat decided to postpone the annual semester exams for all the students. Earlier, Gujarat University's annual semester exams 2021 were scheduled to commence from April 12, 2021. According to the official circular released by the university, the revised timetable and date sheet for the deferred exam would be released by next week. Selection of the options will be opened for students shortly.

With speculation and rumours making rounds on the internet, Gujarat University decided to release an official circular to confirm the cancellation or postponement of the upcoming exams due to the prevailing pandemic situation. The circular released by Gujarat University reads, “Keeping in view the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, all the exams starting from April 12 and on April 23, as well as those to be conducted thereafter, have been suspended till further announcement.”

To avoid panic and uncertainty among the students, Gujarat University Vice-Chancellor Himanshu Pandya addressed the students stating that the GU Exam 2021 dates will be notified soon. He also added that “The options and revised exam dates will be announced within a week.”

According to the timetable released earlier, the Gujarat University Semester Exams 2021 for undergraduate students was expected to begin from April 12, 2021, onwards. The date sheet says that for the first year, first semester exams were to be held from April 12 and the second semester from April 23, 2021. The University decided to conduct the semester exams via both online and offline modes.
