Gujarat University signs MoU with DRDO to establish cybersecurity research centre

The MoU was inked in the presence of defence minister, between the secretary of the department of defence R&D, DRDO chairman Dr. G Satheesh Reddy and GU vice-chancellor Himanshu Pandya, in New Delhi.

Gujarat Univerity has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to build an advanced technology center, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Centre for Cybersecurity Research (SVPCCR), at the Gujarat University campus in Ahmedabad.

The centre will be built with an investment of over Rs 100 crore, according to a media release from GU. The MoU was inked in the presence of defence minister, between the secretary of the department of defence R&D, DRDO chairman Dr. G Satheesh Reddy and GU vice-chancellor Himanshu Pandya, in New Delhi.
The centre will undertake directed basic and applied research in broad domains related to defence and dual-use applications.

Meanwhile, Gujarat University is all set to announce the GU Provisional Merit List 2021 for MCom and BEd. Candidates who have applied for Gujarat University Admissions 2021 can check the Gujarat University 2021 merit list for MCom and BEd by visiting the official website; i.e. gujaratuniversity.ac.in. Students will have to enter  their username and password in the student login window  

Gujarat University will release the final merit list of Gujarat University 2021 for MCom on October 10. As per the schedule, the Gujarat University MCom college allotment list for round - I will be released on October 13 after 6 pm. The Gujarat University Final Merit List 2021 for BEd will be announced on October 9. The Gujarat University 2021 BEd merit list for rounds 2 and 3 will be announced on October 10 and 22.
