GNDU Admissions 2021: Guru Nanak Dev University College, (GNDU) Ladowali, commenced a two-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on entrepreneurship on Monday, i.e. February 8. According to the official reports, GNDU organised the programme under the aegis of the science and technology department of the college. The programme was graced by the virtual presence of Dr Benipal, dean, college development council as the chief guest. Moreover, Sudhir Gera, partner of Kirloskar Oil and Engine and also an expert on entrepreneurship, was present as the special guest. Sharing his views regarding the launched programme as well as its importance, Dr Benipal, Dean, and College Development Council said, “One must study its effects on society and the environment. Such knowledgeable programmes should be conducted more in the near future.”

While commencing the session, Dr Benipal remarked that before starting a business, one must study its effects on society and the environment. On the occasion, he commended the great efforts of Dr Ashish Arora, chief coordinator of FDP, and also recommended such knowledgeable programmes in the near future. Dr Kamlesh Singh Duggal, OSD and programme patron of the college, thanked Benipal and Gera.

Meanwhile, GNDU announced that it will be conducting offline examinations for several semesters from February 15 onward. According to the official reports, the theory examinations of the first, third, fifth, seventh and ninth semesters will begin on the said date and the official schedules are now available on the university’s website, i.e. www.gndu.ac.in. Meanwhile, for several courses, the university has already conducted offline examinations in the first phase. While, the issue of offline exams amid the ongoing pandemic situation had been opposed by a segment of students, who had earlier demanded that the university conduct the exams digitally.
