Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the e-VidyaBharati and e-ArogyaBharati Network Project of MEA, GoI. The agreement was signed between Arun Dagar, Executive Director, TCIL and Dr. Alok Chaube, Registrar.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ambedkar Centre for Excellence (DACE), Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has started inviting applications from the candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC) community for the free coaching for the civil services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). All the candidates who are interested can apply on the IGNOU website; i.e ignou.ac.in from June 5, 2022, onwards.

"Candidates must note that the free UPSC coaching by IGNOU and DACE will include coaching for both UPSC CSE preliminary and main examinations. The application form and other details about the coaching will be available on the IGNOU website only from June 5," said a statement from IGNOU.

IGNOU has earlier in a tweet announced that the last date to apply for the IGNOU free UPSC coaching for SC candidates is June 30, 2022. The coaching will be provided to the selected candidates from the SC community on the basis of the entrance test. UPSC coaching will aim to help these students qualify for the UPSC civil service exam 2023.

Earlier, the DACE at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) also invited applications for free UPSC civil service coaching from SC students. Candidates can register on or before June 15, 2022, at new.bhu.ac.in to enroll in the free UPSC coaching programme.
