IIIT Delhi Admission 2021 begins for PhD programme, last date to apply is April 4

Candidates interested in IIIT Delhi Admissions 2021 can apply through the official website of the institute, i.e. iiitd.ac.in. The last date of submitting the admission application is April 4.

IIIT Delhi Admissions 2021: The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Delhi commenced its admissions application process on March 13, 2021, for its PhD programme. Candidates interested in IIIT Delhi Admissions 2021 can apply through the official website of the institute, i.e. iiitd.ac.in. According to the programme prospectus, the institute offers a PhD programme in computational biology, computer science and engineering, electronics and communications engineering, human-centred design, mathematics, social sciences and humanities. Candidates must note that the last date of submitting the admission application is April 4.

According to IIIT Delhi, the PhD programme aims to empower students to become part of the global research ecosystem and contribute to research organisations and top-class universities across the world.

After getting enrolled under the programme, the IIIT Delhi PhD scholars will also receive financial support from the institute. At present, the institute is offering fellowship at Rs 31,000 per month, in the first and second year and Rs 35,000 per month in the third and fourth year. For the fifth year, the fellowship will be Rs 30,000 per month.

Meanwhile, an overseas research fellowship of up to $6000 for conducting research collaborations with reputed universities/ labs abroad for a period up to six months is also granted by the institute. Candidates can visit the official website of the institute and submit their application form at the earliest.
