IIM Jammu admission 2021 begin for PhD programme, last date to apply is March 31

According to the official statement released by the management school, candidates appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply provisionally.

IIM Jammu Admissions 2021: Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu, commenced the admission application process for its PhD Programme in Management offered in the following areas of Specialization: (i) Business Policy & Strategy (ii) Organizational Behaviour & HRM (iii) Finance & Accounting (iv) Marketing (v) Operations & Supply Chain Management (vi) IT Systems & Analytics (vii) Economics & Business Environment. The last date to submit the application form is March 31, 2021. Candidates interested in IIM Jammu Admissions 2021 are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the programme.

IIM Jammu Admissions 2021: Eligibility Criteria

According to the official statement released by the management school, candidates appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply provisionally. However, the applicant must not be more than 40 years as of June 1, 2021. A valid score in CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF(UGC/CSIR) depending on the specialization opted is also required. The score obtained within 3 years should be valid as of March 31, 2021.

Candidates applying for the IIM Jammu PhD programme must possess one of the following qualifications:

(i) Master's Degree (Bachelor’s degree obtained in 10+2+3 pattern, followed by a Master’s degree)

(ii) 5-year Integrated Master’s Degree (obtained after completing higher secondary schooling in 10+2 pattern) in any discipline, with at least 60% marks in the Bachelor’s as well as in the Master’s degree

(iii) A Professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CS, with at least 50%

(iv) Five year/four-year Integrated Master’s degree programme in any discipline, with at least 60 percent marks, obtained after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent

(v) A 4 year / 8 semesters Bachelor's degree (10+2+4 pattern) with at least 6.5 CGPA or equivalent marks.

IIM Jammu Admissions 2021: Selection Process

The shortlisting of the candidates will be done on the basis of the details in the application form and the scores of tests and shortlisted applicants will be called for interviews in the month of May 2021 at IIM Jammu Campus. Merit List will be prepared based on Personal Interview (Research Aptitude & Publications and Reference Letter), Academic Qualification and Relevant Work Experience.

IIM Jammu will also provide financial support to the selected candidates which include a waiver of Tuition, Hostel and Library fees; Doctoral Fellowship of Rs 35,000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 40,000/- per month for the subsequent years; Contingency Grant of Rs. 40,000/- per year; Computer Grant of Rs. 50,000/- and Conference Support of Rs. 2,00,000/-
