IIM Shillong collaborates with Alba Graduate B-school for teachers, students exchange programme
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong has inked an agreement with Alba Graduate Business School of Greece for a host of exchange programmes and collaborations. Under the agreement, both the institutes will work towards teachers and student exchange programmes, joint research initiatives, and other academic and scientific endeavours, the official said.

Both the institutions will work to develop workable managerial and technological solutions, he said. Alba is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). The commission is authorised by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the NDTV reported.
Earlier, with an aim to boost the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the North Eastern Region (NER), the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati, had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Incubation and Enterprise Support Centre of Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIMS) to boost the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the North Eastern Region (NER).
The objective of this partnership is to encourage entrepreneurship, incubation, and startups in the North Eastern Region. To support professional development in the areas of management, entrepreneurship, and skill development, and to meet the larger demand for capacity building and entrepreneurship promotion in the NER, the institutes will collaborate and exchange information and resources. Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajesh Aggarwal said the Northeast has tremendous potential that is just waiting to be discovered.
