IIT Jammu LG Sustainable Development Fellowship 2021: Last date to apply is July 31

Indian Institute of Technology Jammu (IIT-J) invites applications for Lieutenant Governor’s Sustainable Development Fellowship 2021. Candidates interested in IIT Jammu admissions for the LG fellowship programme must note that the last day to apply for Lieutenant Governor’s Sustainable Development Fellowship 2021 is July 31, 2021. Eligible candidates can apply for the fellowship at iitjammu.ac.in-/LGfellowships.

LG Sustainable Development Fellowship 2021 gives a unique opportunity to work directly under the lieutenant governor. Selected candidates will get an enriching experience to be a part of a good governance system. According to the official notice released by IIT Jammu, the first batch of this highly attractive and flexible fellowship programme will begin on September 20, 2021. The fellowship programme will engage participants in the design, implementation, review and monitoring of policies and programmes.

Applications are invited from outstanding achievers, regional language speakers with a fair knowledge of Hindi and English. Communicators with extraordinary verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are also invited. Candidates applying for the programme must be talented professionals with a minimum of one year of experience in the field. Indian nationals who are 30 years or less as of the date of application can apply.

LG Sustainable Development Fellowship 2021: Essential Qualification

• Graduates from NITs/IITs/IIMs, CFTIs and other academic institutions of repute with one year of experience in the field as on date of application.
• A minimum of 60% in the final aggregate in degree/diploma programmes is a must.
• Work experience in development and infrastructure sectors with reasonable exposure to policy design and implementation is preferred.
• Candidates passing out of higher education institutes of the J&K UT will be preferred.
• Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
