Indian Maritime University and Indian Navy have signed an agreement for technical collaboration.

Indian Navy and Indian Maritime University have inked an MoU on June 2, 2023, in New Delhi for technical collaboration. The MoU sets forth procedures towards collaboration in fields of training, joint research and development, collaborative courses, and resolution of field-level issues by teams from Centre of Excellence (Marine Engg), INS Shivaji, Lonavla and IMU. 

The MoU was signed by VAdm Sandeep Naithani, COM and Dr Malini V Shankar, IAS (Retd), Vice Chancellor of Indian Maritime University.

Indian Maritime University: Admissions are open for the BBA (LRE)/BBA(ML) Programme

The last date for registration/editing for BBA admissions is June 22, 2023. The first list of selected candidates will be out by June 30, 2023. The deadline for online payment of programme fees for candidates selected in the first list is July 4, 2023.

The second list of selected candidates will be out by July 10, 2023, declaration of Admission on an FCFS basis on July 18, 2023. Certificate Verification for admitted students at IMU Campuses is scheduled between July 25, 2023, to July 30, 2023.

"The Candidates seeking admission to the BBA (Logistics, Retailing and e-Commerce) Programme offered at IMU Campuses Chennai and Kochi / Apprenticeship embedded BBA (Maritime Logistics) offered at IMU Visakhapatnam Campus for the Academic Year 2023-24, commencing on 01.08.2023(tentative date - refer Academic Brochure 2023-24 on IMU website for further details), have to register online on the IMU Portal," reads the official notification.

"There will be no Common Entrance Test by IMU for admissions to this Programme. For admissions to BBA Programmes, candidates can apply on basis of CUET scores by entering the marks of three CUET subjects English (CUET code: 101), General Test (CUET code: 501) & Any 1 Domain Subject of Candidates’ choice. Candidates can also apply on the basis of 12th grade scores, however the seats to CUET candidates would be preferred during allotment. Admissions on the basis of 12th marks will be based on the aggregate marks in any stream at 12th grade and marks in English subject in 10th / 12th Examination," added the notification.
