JU Admission 2021: Jadavpur University is now inviting applications for its Post Graduate Programme for the academic year 2021-22. Jadavpur University Admission 2021 online application process will begin from July 15, 2021. All those candidates who are interested and are eligible to apply can go and do so by visiting the official website of Jadavpur University; i.e. jaduniv.edu.in.  

The university released the notice for online application in Post Graduate programmes on July 6, 2021. The entire process of admission will be held online. Applicants will not be required to visit the university during the process of admission physically for any purpose. The detailed schedule of applications for the courses will be notified by the university.   

Students must note that the last date to apply to Jadavpur University Admission 2021 is July 29, 2021. Jadavpur University will be releasing its online application for the Post-Graduate Degree Programme under the Faculty Council of Engineering and Technology, FET, and Faculty Council of Interdisciplinary Studies, Law and Management, FISLM. 
All the programmes offered by the institute are semester programmes. Considering the current situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, no admission test will be conducted by the institute for the admission session 2021-22. The university will be releasing a category-wise merit list which will be prepared to keep in mind the allotment seats and other criteria. 

Students must note that the merit list will be prepared based on the GATE, GPAT scores. Marks of the candidates will be based on GATE score which will be marked out of 1000. Or, it will be based on GPAT score which will be marked out of 500 marks. 

Similarly, in case there is a tie in the merit list, weightage will be given to the percentage of marks received in the qualifying degree, percentage aggregate marks in the secondary examination. Candidates born earlier will be given a preference in this scenario. Keeping in mind the current pandemic, the university has waived the application fees for the PG programmes for the session 2021-22.
