KTU invites applications for PhD programme; apply on or before March 31
Admissions to both July 2021 and January 2022 batches are offered. Candidates can apply for full-time and part-time PhD. Candidates who are interested to pursue PhD at KTU must note that the applications can be submitted online.
APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (KTU), Kerala is now inviting applications for the PhD admission in affiliated colleges for the academic year 2021-22.
Admissions to both July 2021 and January 2022 batches are offered. Candidates can apply for full-time and part-time PhD. Those working in affiliated colleges and in firms/institutes approved by the university are eligible to apply for the part-time PhD programme.
Candidates who are interested to pursue PhD at KTU must note that the applications can be submitted online. The last date for submitting applications is March 31. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of the varsity; i.e. ktu.edu.in.
KTU Admissions 2021: Eligibility Criteria
Those seeking admission to PhD programme are advised to go through the eligibility criteria given below before filling up the admission form.
- Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology, Architecture or a Master’s degree by research in Engineering/Technology with a minimum CGPA of 6.5
- Master’s degree in Basic Sciences or Mathematics with a minimum CGPA of 6.5
- Master’s degree in Computer Applications with a minimum CGPA of 6.5
- For PhD in Management, Master’s degree in Management with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or equivalent PG Diploma in Management from National Institutes with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/ Master’s
degree in Engineering/Technology in Management related streams with a minimum CGPA of 6.5
- Basic Sciences candidates can pursue full-time as well as part-time research with the following condition that for all streams other than Mathematics, a co-guide is mandatory from a sister institution/
research organization which is willing to extend its research facilities/laboratories for the scholar. 60% for those Applicants for whom only percentage of marks is available in the mark list.
