Madras University Final Year Exams 2020 Dates Declared: Madras University officially announced the schedule for UG Final Semester Exams 2020. According to the dates announced, the University will conduct a final year examination for undergraduate students from September 21 to September 30, 2020. The Madras University not only announced the dates for Final Semester Exams 2020 but also asked all the affiliated colleges to start making preliminary preparations to hold the exams in accordance with the dates. Along with this, the university also released a detailed circular confirming the details about the UG and PG Exam Dates.

According to the details available in the official circular shared by the University of Madras, the Final Semester Exams 2020 are scheduled to be held in offline mode. The notification clearly states that the varsity will conduct the Final Year Exams in offline mode i.e. in pen-and-paper format for candidates residing in the state. However, students who are currently outside Tamil Nadu state are eligible to appear for online exams. Also, Tamil Nadu students who are living in containment zones or are under quarantine will also be given a chance to appear for the Madras University Final Year Exams 2020 via online mode. The University will release complete details about format, mode and time on September 9, 2020.

In order to avail the option of appearing for term-end exams via online mode, candidates are required to make a formal written request to the Madras University administration along with necessary proof by September 16, 2020.
